We are pleased to be bringing this training to New London, NH through partnership with New London Early Learning Center
Strengthening Families Framework: Bringing the Protective Factors to You provides examples of everyday actions that professionals can take to promote these important family characteristics.
The training is especially for those whose work focuses on children and is ideally suited for professionals in early learning, family support and strengthening professionals, and health care providers or anyone else who wishes to enhance their strength-based practice.
This one-day training offers an overview of the framework and includes opportunities to plan how you will bring the framework to life in your work.
The training will begin at 9am and end at 3pm. Lunch will be "on your own" during a provided break in this full-day session. You are welcome to bring a lunch or order in.
This training series can be taken in addition to, or in conjunction with, the Strengthening Families on-line training or the full 7-course face-to-face series. To learn more about the on-line training click here.
This series meets the requirements for continuing education for several child-serving professionals:
- 5.5 Child Care Professional Development interactive hours.
- 5.5 hours of continuing education awarded by the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, New Hampshire division; for professionals licensed by the Board of Mental Health Practice
- Qualifies for contact hours for nurses in related fields
